Responsibilities

Please note this is a field based opportunity to cover the mid-west region.  If hired for the position, you will be required to reside in the territory.    

 

Bruker’s Preclinical Imaging Division develops and delivers high-performance imaging solutions including Optical Molecular Imaging (OMI), PET, SPECT, and CT systems used in oncology, neurology, infectious disease, cardiology, and inflammation research. These platforms support cutting-edge pharmaceutical development and translational research across leading academic, hospital, and biopharma institutions. 

 

New opportunity for a Preclinical Imaging Sales Professional with strong business acumen, lead generation, prospecting and closing skills to develop and drive in vivo imaging capital equipment sales.

  • Actively pursue and develop sales opportunities across Optical Molecular Imaging (OMI) and Preclinical PET/SPECT/CT imaging portfolios
  • Schedule technical lectures and workshops at key accounts
  • Develop and maintain strong working relationships and work closely with Field Application Scientists, colleagues, new and current customers.
  • Develop sales strategies necessary to grow the business for the assigned territory, including market analysis, business plan, and sales funnel.
  • Support the sales process from prospecting initial contacts via web search or conferences/events to on-site customer visits, demonstrations and ordering process
  • Actively participate in scientific symposiums, national and international conferences and educational programs of interest    
  • Manage and qualify incoming sales leads from prospecting, understanding their needs, and assessing the fit.
  • Actively maintain and manage all sales related information in Salesforce.

Qualifications

  • BS Degree in life science discipline required. Advanced Degree a plus.
  • Minimum of 3 years’ technical sales work experience, including a proven track record of ongoing success and achievement selling capital scientific equipment.
  • Recent hands-on work experience selling in vivo imaging instrumentation to the life science marketplace strongly preferred. 
  • Established relationships with decision makers in academia, pharma and biotech companies
  • Highly self-motivated, adaptive, assertive, and rigorous sales professional with a proven knowledge of biology and imaging technology.
  • Strong understanding of preclinical imaging technologies and methodology; experience in PET/SPECT/CT data acquisition & processing
  • Demonstrated successful track record of prospecting (grants, publications), developing, and closing technical product and large capital equipment sales (100K+) to BioPharma and CROs,
  • Excellent verbal, written, interpersonal, computer, and technical communication, organizational, and presentation skills, including advanced MS Office proficiency and Salesforce or similar CRM.   
  • Advanced business connection and correspondence communication, presentation, and follow through abilities, including attention to detail and strong sense of urgency, support, customer response.
  • Proven ability to multi-task, prioritize, work independently and within a team.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills with ability to work independently, prioritize, multi-task, follow through, and meet deadlines within an entrepreneurial and customer-focused work environment.
  • Operates with a high standard of ethics, integrity, and professionalism
  • Ability to satisfactorily complete position compliance and training requirements
  • Valid Driver License in good standing, issued by resident state and reliable transportation required.
  • U.S. Citizenship or U.S. Permanent Resident status required.
  • Maintain a valid passport with flexibility for domestic and international travel.
  • May be required to pass security clearance investigation.

 

At Bruker, the base salary is part of our total compensation. The estimated base salary range for this full-time position is between $75,150 and $134,000 and provides an opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base salary for the role will depend on several job-related factors, including, but not limited to, education, training, experience, the geographic location of the successful candidate, skills, competencies, job-related knowledge, and travel requirements for this position. Full-time employees may also be eligible for a performance-related incentive in addition to a full range of benefits, including 401(k) with company match, an employee stock purchase plan, medical and dental plans, life insurance, short-term and long-term disability insurance, employee assistance program and paid time off including vacation, sick time and holidays, and more.
