Bridge between R&D, Engineering and Production teams to develop, implement and maintain processes, designs, sources, and schedules. Design, integrate, and improve manufacturing processes, systems, tools, and fixtures. Estimates manufacturing cost, determines time standards, and makes recommendations for tooling and process requirements of new or existing product lines. Manage Engineering Change Order (ECO) process and improvements. Support technical writing to improve documentation of production and testing processes. Apply the five lean thinking principles (value, value stream, flow, pull, and perfection) to processes and operations through various lean tools in order to increase profit, automate non-value added activity, increase value added activity, and reduce pure waste, overhead, lead time, and development time.
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
Related certificates, licenses, and awards for using Microsoft Office, Solidworks, or others for safety, documentation, product development, design, fabrication, manufacturing, business, etc. are a plus.
At Bruker, base salary is part of our total compensation. The estimated base salary range for this full-time position is between $51,000 and $91,000 and provides an opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base salary for the role will depend on a several job-related factors, including, but not limited to education, training, experience, the geographic location of the successful candidate, skills, competencies, job-related knowledge and travel requirements for this position.
