We are currently seeking a Reagent Production Specialist for our reagent manufacturing team. In this role, you will perform hands-on bench-level formulation, aliquot and QC on various reagent materials to support revenue and internal demand. This role requires experience working at the bench level doing common laboratory tasks including pipetting and operation of various QC and analysis equipment. This position requires a motivated person capable of performing technical tasks independently with minimal direct oversight.

 

This is a temporary contract position with expected pay between $30-$45/hour.

Responsibilities

• Reagent formulation, QC, aliquot and preparation for shipment
• Incoming receiving support for reagent materials
• Transaction and QC record completion
• Support production lead in establishing weekly production plans
• Independently manage short-term priorities and identify and resolve roadblocks to achieve daily and weekly reagent production goals
• Support other production and material handling activities as required
• Support execution of engineering efforts to streamline manufacturing processes

Qualifications

• BS in a science discipline (Biology, Engineering, Chemistry)
• Prior laboratory experience, preferably in a reagent manufacturing environment
• Ability to pipette accurately, particularly small volume pipette techniques, and perform typical laboratory activities using common analysis and QC equipment (e.g.
• Familiarity with aseptic and sterilization lab techniques
• Experience with ERP production and material transactions is a plus

• Able to work independently with minimal direct oversight, follow SOPs and production process flows
• Quality mindset, good attention to detail
