As a Manufacturing Technician, you'll assemble, trouble shoot, and test complex systems and components for nanomachining, laser based, and cryogenic cleaning products for the semiconductor industry.. If you're looking for challenging and rewarding work, and want to make an impact, let's chat!

Responsibilities

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

· Assemble, troubleshoot, and test complex subcomponent and system level assemblies

· Assemble, setup & debug mechanical and optical assemblies using mechanical prints and procedures

· Assemble, setup & debug pneumatic assemblies using pneumatic and electrical schematics

· Assemble, setup & debug electrical assemblies using electrical schematics and procedures

· Assemble, setup & debug computers, including software installation

· Provide and document timely feedback on issues encountered during assembly

· Create and edit drawings and build and test procedures

· Perform and document results of incoming parts inspections for quality control

· Perform equipment final test, diagnostics, and repairs as needed

· Comply with all safety procedures and requirements; ability to develop and maintain an awareness of occupational hazards and safety precautions

· Position requires frequent overtime/weekend work and may require non-standard work hours supporting equipment or building needs and activities

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Maintain facilities internal structure in good cosmetic and working condition

· Use equipment such as microscopes, computers, soldering irons, crimp tools, and other specialty tools and equipment

· Other tasks as needed or assigned

 

ENVIRONMENTAL REQUIREMENTS:

· Must be able to frequently sit, stand, bend, kneel, crouch, crawl, walk, or climb; use hands to finger, climb or balance, handle, and feel

· Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and to lift overhead and push/pull, move lighter objects

Qualifications

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

· Demonstrated strong mechanical aptitude

· Ability to read drawings, build prints, detailed procedures, and electrical, optics, and pneumatic schematics

· Ability to work efficiently and independently with minimal supervision, multi-tasking in an often changing environment

· Able to work in a team environment understanding and communicating about and planning how to minimize impacts to others work responsibilities

 

EDUCATIONAL/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

· High school diploma

· Demonstrated experience testing/trouble shooting of electrical, pneumatic, and mechanical assemblies

· At least 5 year experience in manufacturing position for complex equipment

· Experience with networking, software installation and troubleshooting, and computer assembly

· Ideal candidate will also have A+ or other network certification

· Ideal candidate will also have experience in quality inspection for tight tolerances

· Ideal candidate will also have experience working with lasers

 

At Bruker, base salary is part of our total compensation. The estimated base salary range for this full-time position is between $23 and $42/hr. You will have the ability progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base salary for the role will depend on a several job-related factors, including, but not limited to education, training, experience, the geographic location of the successful candidate, skills, competencies, job-related knowledge and travel requirements for this position. Full-time employees may also be eligible for a performance-related incentive in addition to a full range of benefits including 401(k) with company match, an employee stock purchase plan, medical and dental plans, life insurance, short-term and long-term disability insurance, employee assistance program and paid time off including vacation, sick time and holidays, and more.
