As a result of exceptional growth in our Mass Spectrometry instrument sales in North America, Bruker Daltonics has an immediate opening for an Aftermarket Support Sales Representative who will present and sell Maintenance Services Agreements to current and potential customers. 

Responsibilities

  • Quote and Sell our portfolio of aftermarket support services.
  • Prepare action plans and schedules to identify specific targets and to project the number of contacts to be made.
  • Follow up on new leads and referrals resulting from field activity.
  • Identify sales prospects and contact these and other accounts as assigned.
  • Prepare presentations, proposals, and sales contracts.
  • Develop and maintain sales materials and current product knowledge.
  • Establish and maintain current customer and potential customer relationships.
  • Identify and resolve customer concerns.
  • Prepare a variety of status reports-goals & forecast, including activity, closings, follow-up, and adherence to goals.
  • Communicate new product and service opportunities, special developments, information, or feedback gathered through field activity to appropriate company staff and customers.
  • collaborate with associate departments within company including outside sales, technical support, customer service and accounting departments.
  • Participate in marketing events such as seminars, trade shows, and telemarketing events.
  • Assist in the preparation of bids and Request for Quotes (RFQ)
  • Other duties may be assigned.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in either Business Administration or Life Sciences plus 5 years inside or outside sales experience in after- market service sales for high tech equipment required.
  • Demonstrated working knowledge of MS Office products including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint; Sales Force Experience strongly preferred.                           
  • Ability to persuade and influence others.
  • Ability to develop and deliver presentations.
  • Ability to create, compose, and edit written materials.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of advertising and sales techniques.
  • Visibility requires maintaining a professional appearance and providing a positive company image to the public.
  • Ability to work independently or supervised, as well as in a team environment.          
  • Ability and willingness to travel (<10%)  within assigned territory to current and potential clients is required.
  • Work requires willingness to work a flexible schedule and occasional overnight travel
  • Valid driver’s license and travel documents.

 

At Bruker, base salary is part of our total compensation. The estimated base salary range for this full-time position is between $87,000.00 and $138,000.00 and provides an opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base salary for the role will depend on a several job-related factors, including, but not limited to education, training, experience, the geographic location of the successful candidate, skills, competencies, job-related knowledge and travel requirements for this position. Full-time employees may also be eligible for a performance-related incentive in addition to a full range of benefits including 401(k) with company match, an employee stock purchase plan, medical and dental plans, life insurance, short-term and long-term disability insurance, employee assistance program and paid time off including vacation, sick time, holidays, and more.
