We are looking for R&D Technician (Engineering assistance)

Responsibilities

  • Assisting R&D Engineers with the development of new wire products.
  • Job responsibilities are on the wire manufacturing floor and include wire drawing and process development, including the ability to create tools & methods to take a product from the experimental to production state.
  • Participating in the planning and analysis of experiments
  • Assisting the production department with special projects as needed.

Qualifications

  • Technical high school diploma or associate’s degree
  • 2-3 years of Electronics, Mechanical or Chemical background preferred.
  • Previous experience working with metals, machining, and chemical handling preferred.
  • The ability to perform occasional heavy physical work, including lifting 50 pounds.
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate within a team.
  • Good organizational and communication skills.
  • Machine operation background.
  • Basic math and computer skills.
  • Some mechanical skills preferred.
  • Self-motivated and mechanically creative
  • Attention to detail.
  • Some overtime may be required.

 

At Bruker, the base salary is part of our total compensation. The estimated hourly range for this full-time position is between $20.00/hr and $25.00/hr and provides an opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. Please note this position is eligible for Overtime compensation.  The base salary for the role will depend on several job-related factors, including, but not limited to, education, training, experience, the geographic location of the successful candidate, skills, competencies, job-related knowledge, and travel requirements for this position. Full-time employees may also be eligible for a performance-related incentive in addition to a full range of benefits, including 401(k) with company match, an employee stock purchase plan, medical and dental plans, life insurance, short-term and long-term disability insurance, employee assistance program and paid time off including vacation, sick time and holidays, and more.
