Responsibilities

New opportunity with the BNANO Finance Group for a Sales Channel Compliance Manager to support and contribute to the education, training and communication of Anti Bribery/ Anti-Corruption (ABAC) policies, Bruker’s Code of Conduct and Global Third Party Agents (TPA) Compliance policies across the globe, as well as marketing and promoting the function throughout the business group. Responsibilities include but not limited to system and policy training development for third party agents due diligence; TPA contract management; risk model development; central point of contact for coordination and tracking of global sales channel compliance initiatives.

  • Supervise daily TPA DD activities including decision making and remediations of red flag and cautions through escalation process. Ensure Level of Service commitments are met daily. Conduct periodic meetings with Divisional stakeholders to address concerns.  Maintain data integrity of TPA Database and manage Securimate Platform.
  • Oversee TPA Commercial Contract execution. Track and report on open Agreement Actions and terminations.  Maintain WW Commercial Contract Templates. Maintain BNANO Group Sales TC’s.  Coordinate communications with outside legal counsel and factory sales management teams as required.
  • Support and train WW Sales and Management to conclude agreements within Bruker Contract Policy Guidelines and Limits of Authority to ensure compliance with BRKR TPA and other Bruker Policies.  Communicate and appropriately escalate TPA and other compliance and contractual issues to senior management on a regular basis.
  • Maintain Securimate platform shared by all Bruker TPA DD Staff worldwide.  Maintain risk model, online forms, user profiles, and all aspects of configuration.  Maintain relationship and service contract with Steele/Securimate on behalf of all BRKR TPA DD staff.
  • Work with all BRKR TPA DD staff (CALID/BBIO/China) to harmonize processes and establish Best Practices. Attend monthly BRKR Legal and Compliance meetings. Communicate and coordinate with BRKR Legal/Compliance on matters relating to TPA Due Diligence and Compliance. 
  • Ensure compliance with BRKR/BNANO Group TPA Process and Procedures.  Document BNANO TPA Group Policies/Procedures/Work Instructions. BRKR TPA DD Harmonization, Best Practices, Securimate Administration.
  • Respond (Review) TPA Internal Audits.  Achieve results >95% Compliant. Support Division SOX Audit inquiries relating to TPA DD/Contracts at transactional level.  Communicate frequently with BNANO divisional sales management and regional finance teams to resolve TPA questions and issues on a timely basis.
  • Actively maintain individual and TPA DD Compliance Team professional development.  Remain current with best practices and work to continuously improve and integrate with BRKR policy and procedures.  Communicate as appropriate with other Bruker groups and compliance organizations.  Maintain effective internal and external industry and professional network.
  • Perform other duties as required.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor Degree in Accounting, Finance. Master Degree or additional relevant Professional Certification preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 years related Compliance work experience within legal, compliance or finance department of a public company including 5 recent years’ experience in a global leadership position.
  • Professional Compliance Certification with international regulatory compliance relating to international commercial operations, such as TASA preferred.
  • Hands-on work experience with US and international anti-corruption laws and regulations and the ability to apply laws to straight-forward business situations using a risk based approach. 
  • Significant work experience with Risk Based Third Party Management System and due diligence research tools.
  • Deep proven knowledge and understanding of due diligence compliance processes and best practices.  Securimate or Hiperos experience preferred.
  • Extensive work experience with commercial contract management and general contract laws.  Ensures compliance with Bruker Limits of Authority.  Works with legal counsel to ensure legal matters are appropriately addressed to mitigate risk to Bruker.
  • SAP work experience required.  
  • Advanced Microsoft Office suite proficiency, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio. Adobe Professional and SharePoint experience preferred.
  • Outstanding problem solving skills with ability to evaluate quantitative and qualitative information and associated risks.
  • Proven ability to propose and coordinate execution of viable solutions aimed to mitigate risk.
  • English fluency with exceptional verbal, written, interpersonal, computer, analytical, and technical communication, organizational, and presentation skills with individual ability to prepare and deliver effective presentations at various levels of the organization.
  • Strong accuracy with attention to details. Excellent at workload prioritization, time and resource management. 
  • Advanced business acumen and judgment with ability to maintain current knowledge of the company’s markets/products, operations, and industry trends.  Proven ability to think strategically about business issues.
  • Builds strong constructive relationships with all parties to enable higher performance and focus on continuous improvement. 
  • Establishes a strong and visible compliance across all related functions of the organization.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a matrixed environment, and capable of gaining commitment and coordinated action for initiatives.  Maintains effective working relationships across the company, at the divisional, functional, and corporate level.
  • Effective at driving change and managing teams to achieve desired results. Capable of articulating a vision or plan, gaining organizational commitment to action, and managing through others to achieve results.  Ability to effectively and efficiently manage and lead projects.
  • Demonstrated track record of effective performance management and developing staff and future leaders.
  • Ability to quickly assimilate knowledge of new subject matter and effectively communicate the same at all levels of the organization.
  • Operates at the highest standards of business ethics, honesty, and personal integrity.
  • Ability to satisfactorily complete compliance and training requirements.
  • Valid Driver License in good standing, issued by resident state required.
  • U.S. Citizenship or U.S. Permanent Resident status required.
  • Maintain a valid passport with flexibility for domestic and international travel.
  • May be required to pass security clearance investigation.

 

At Bruker, the base salary is part of our total compensation. The estimated base salary range for this full-time position is between $123,300 and $219,000 and provides an opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base salary for the role will depend on several job-related factors, including, but not limited to, education, training, experience, the geographic location of the successful candidate, skills, competencies, job-related knowledge, and travel requirements for this position. Full-time employees may also be eligible for a performance-related incentive in addition to a full range of benefits, including 401(k) with company match, an employee stock purchase plan, medical and dental plans, life insurance, short-term and long-term disability insurance, employee assistance program and paid time off including vacation, sick time and holidays, and more.
