Overview

The Director, Global Market Development will lead a comprehensive worldwide market development at Bruker Spatial Biology. This role reports to the SVP, Product Management and Marketing. This role serves as the central role to bring our technology closer to the biological needs of customer and communicate unmet needs of customers to internal development teams.  This individual works closely with product management, R&D and downstream marketing to deliver scientific content and best practices to thousands of scientists using various go-to-market tactical activities.

Responsibilities

Essential Responsibilities:

Market Development:

  • Design, develop and execute comprehensive global market development program for spatial biology.
  • Work collaboratively with R&D and Product Management to build various segment specific scientific data sets and presentations. Based on program feedback make necessary adjustments to presentations.
  • Be the single point of contact for a complex worldwide program with various scientific speakers and external KOLs.
  • Support product management in the development of high value product positioning, effective sales tools, marketing collateral, and customer-facing presentations.
  • Stay current with advancements in spatial biology, multiomics, immunology and proteomics.
  • Work closely with downstream marketing to create online podcasts, webinars and other digital means to drive best practices in spatial biology to end users

Collaborations & KOL Management:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with KOLs, influencers and advocates across regions to support market shaping and development for spatial research portfolio.
  • Co-create SOWs for new collaborations and oversee the progress on projects such as partnerships and early access programs.
  • Design, develop and implement used cases with strategic accounts or KOLs that drives collaboration and expand customer utilization of existing products and solutions through development of application content and generation of evidence.
  • Represent the company at industry conferences, meetings, and networking events and promote product capabilities.

Qualifications

Requirements:

  • Track record of market development in the spatial biology or related market.
  • Proven abilities in establishing relationships with high impact KOL and development of advocacy campaigns.
  • Strong communicator and effective team player.
  • Demonstrates a bias for action and results. Takes ownership of important issues. Demonstrates persistence in the face of obstacles.
  • Ability to communicate (verbal & written) effectively within varying levels of internal and external customers. Must be proficient in written and spoken English.
  • Ability to travel worldwide to deliver high impact presentations at tradeshows, events and conferences.
  • Self-motivated, highly organized, and meticulous in details.
  • Must be able to work independently, manage multiple projects, communicate proactively, and prioritize daily tasks.
  • Proven ability to work in high-paced environment and routinely work on multiple tasks with multiple people while effectively prioritizing
  • Action oriented with demonstrated ability to drive results
  • Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • PhD with > 5 years' experience in the Life Sciences Industry in a commercial role
  • Strong prior experience in the field of Spatial Biology, Immunology or Genomics
  • Ability to travel up to 40% (domestic and international)

At Bruker, base salary is part of our total compensation. The estimated base salary range for this full-time position is between $151,200 and $260,000  and provides an opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base salary for the role will depend on a several job-related factors, including, but not limited to education, training, experience, the geographic location of the successful candidate, skills, competencies, job-related knowledge and travel requirements for this position. Full-time employees may also be eligible for a performance-related incentive in addition to a full range of benefits including 401(k) with company match, an employee stock purchase plan, medical and dental plans, life insurance, short-term and long-term disability insurance, employee assistance program and paid time off including vacation, sick time and holidays, and more.
